Yogi Spirit's Little Treasures

From time to time I find all sorts of little treasures online and offline that I want to share with you. The must-read articles, the new green brands and eco products, quotes, books, and podcasts.

Living a life with less plastic and waste is an ongoing process. And seeing as the theme for July is to reduce the amount of plastic we consume daily.  I thought I would tell you about products that I have bought to help us reduce our waste at home

Stainless straws that are 100% recyclable, reusable, phthalate free and BPA free and come with a handy little brush from Ecolosophy a lovely website that feels like visiting a garden shop.

Bamboo toothbrushes and activated charcoal dental paste from Comme a brand that brings simplicity and beauty into ethical and organic products.

We have gone tree free in the bathroom withPure Planet's toilet paper that is made from bamboo and sugar cane! They deliver to your home so no more last minute dashes to the nearest store.

And because there is beauty all around us. Here is a beauty product that I have fallen for the & Snowflower Illuminating Face Oil from Edible Beauty which has the most beautiful scent and feels heavenly to massage into your skin. A lovely morning ritual to combine with a mantra such as ‘ I am worthy of Love’.

Podcasts are such a great way to enliven the ferrying around that we all do. At the moment, I am listening to Tara Brach who is a leading teacher of Buddhist meditation.  She is funny but so wise too. Another spirit infused podcast is Sounds True, Insights at the edge with Tami Simon who interviews spiritual teachers and leading writers, she always asks such pertinent questions and I find that I am wanting to stop the car and write quotes down all the time.

An article to help us learn about consciously resting: Reversing the Effects of Stress: How to Heal Adrenal Fatigue and Restore the Body’s Health  “At the heart of all of my strategies for adrenal fatigue treatment is the desire for you to rest and to rest well, in a restorative and revitalising way.”

So there you have it! These are just a few of my favourite things at the moment.

Thanks Amanda, so looking forward to being as plastic free as possible for the rest of the year too. It’s great so many people are taking care of themselves and the planet too ? Love your beautiful yogi wear, Rosie @ Ecolosophy
